How to use QA for company growth
QA role.
The general misconception about QA is just testing. Although testing is an important part of the process, it is important to recognize that QA is far more than that. QA is undoubtedly playing an important role in the success of your application or website. This helps reduce costs by eliminating waste, increasing efficiency, and increasing customer experience. This produces a reputation organization for excellence and fosters its customer base.
But many CTOs are not sure what they have to do with their QA.
Don't have enough time
More than half (52%) of respondents said they did not have enough time to test. This figure can be understood because the release speed becomes increasingly important. The challenge is that customers demand new features and regularly update without losses in quality.

Lack of testing environment
Strangely, 41% of respondents said that they did not have an in-house testing environment when testing cellular and multi-channel applications. This shows the fact that environmental stability tests and test data remain the main challenge for QA. This raises the question: How does the company test their cellular application?
Device coverage
The device coverage remains a problem, with 40% of respondents stating that they do not have devices available to be tested. It shows that developers have difficulty testing various combinations of devices, operating systems, and OS configurations.
Add testing back-end applications and cloud data (don't forget the need to improve performance, security, and user experience) and you can appreciate the complexity faced by the organization.
Lack of exploration testing
Only 37% of respondents used exploration testing, which was an increase from 2017 (31%) but fell from 2015 (40%). This shows that although some organizations have adopted exploration testing into their testing strategies, obstacles for some are still too large.
These obstacles include difficulty getting exploration tests correctly, unstructured nature which causes inefficiencies and frustration to struggle to find good testers with a particular mindset.
Change the QA into a growth mindset
The growth mindset for QA is a very frightening leap. A few years ago, the idea that QA can be used to grow your organization will be ridiculed. After all, isn't the QA point just to test the software and find bugs? Instead, as we discussed, QA is far more than that.
QA provides a unique opportunity to provide extraordinary experiences for customers and thus help organizations to grow.
Improve quality.
Apart from your type of application or your industry, it is clear that the quality remains as important as before, if not more. Very important you use QA to improve the quality of your application or website.
Today's end users have zero tolerance for slow performance or performance. Bad quality can cause serious damage to the value of your brand and often charged a big repair.

Reduce development costs
QA must focus on cost optimization and prioritizing expenses in higher risk areas. The aim must always do more for less. Finding the right balance between costs and quality is the key.
If you have too many bugs on the release, you don't test enough and release too early. If you have zero bugs, you test too much and are released late. It's just that, don't be this person!
